Another trip down the memory lane. I photographed Bobi and Jim’s wedding at Elderton Lodge last season and now they’ve got a baby boy William. William is a little bit older than Thomas and loves being outdoors, so we decided to go to the nearby fields for our session.

But first we started with a bench in their yard - William playing with autumn leaves:

It seems such a short time since I photographed Julie and Nick’s wedding last year, and they’ve got a little baby boy Thomas now! Here are some photos from his first photo session as a three-months old baby. I am so glad that Nick managed to take some time off and take part because family portraits are so much fun! I am sure when Thomas grows up he would appreciate not only images of himself but also of his Mum and Dad.

This was a location session at Julie and Nick’s home to make sure Thomas felt comfortable in his own environment. He was such a well-behaved and smiley model!

I have a lot of fulfilled reprint orders that need to be packaged on Sunday and posted on Monday (I’ve got a wedding tomorrow!!!).

I’ve caught up with all outstanding DVD slideshows for

Sarah and David
Stacey and Mark
Sabina and Tom
Donna and Alex
Becky and Anthony

They are packaged and will go in the post on Monday as well.

Becky and Anthony got married at Thorpe St Andrew church and had their wedding reception at Brasteds. I was looking forward to this wedding as Becky’s mum called me a few months prior and warned me that the parents prepared a surprise that our lovely couple did not know of!

Some images from Becky’s getting ready session.

This little girl found a dandalion and was very excited about it:

I’ve done so much work since I last posted! I’ll be adding lots of new stuff nearly every day this week.

Christie and Melvin are leaving for their wedding reception in Singapore so I had to expedite their storybook about their life in London. It’s a 12×8 vertical magazine-style album. I tried to create a modern urban streamlined look for them. Here are some layouts from it:

Donna & Alex @ Lynford Hall

October 15, 2007

Just finished editing Donna and Alex’s wedding photos. They got married at a small church at Tittleshall and their wedding reception was at Lynford Hall.

Without much ado here are some photos from Donna’s bridal preparations.

The shoes - how could I not show those:

Incredibly, Donna’s talented mum took care of all the wedding flowers:

Next scheduled for processing - Becky and Anthony.

Sabina and Tom got married in a small Catholic church at Lawshall, followed by a drinks reception and wedding breakfast at Ravenwood Hall near Bury St Edmunds.

Reception:

Instead of confetti Tom and Sabina were showered with bubbles:

Throwing the bouquet is supposed to be an old tradition but for some reason only a handful of brides do it these days. Sabina wanted to throw her bouquet!

This is the girl who caught it:

and the girls who didn’t:

While guests were ushed into the breakfast room we sneaked out for some private photos. The reception coordinator suggested that we should check the swiming pool. As the light elsewhere was still too harsh we followed her suggestion (to the amusement of hotel residents sunning by the pool).

Ravenwood Hall also had a small menagerie of goats and geese next to the visitors’ car park. This little fellow came out begging for treats:

Christie and Melvyn are having their wedding reception in Singapore in a couple of weeks time and they commissioned this session to tell a story to their families about their life in London.

We started the shoot at their apartment in Docklands. Christie wanted her wedding dress to be photographed but to keep it clean for their reception.
