I have put aside processing new wedding images to finish Sarah and Rob’s album design. These layouts are for a 12″x12″ magazine-style album. The colour scheme was based on purple and damsel accent wedding colours chosen by Sarah and Rob. I chosen warm green and dusky blue as contrasting accents dipped in rich chocolate.

Yesterday I spent all day in London taking part in the pilot of a new Richard and Judy show produced by Cactus TV. One of my former bride and I were invited to trash her dress on camera by throwing paint on it while watched in the studio by Richard and Judy, Emma Bunton and Hairy Bikers.

P.S. As you have guessed, I cannot show any more images right now but I’ll post them here after the show goes on air on Watch on the 7 October 2008.

Sarah and Jonathan got married at Woddhall Spa Hotel in Lincolnshire. It was the first dry and sunny weekend after a series of rainy ones and I was looking forward to have more outdoor photos for a change.

Both Sarah and Jonathan were getting ready in the same hotel so we started out coverage by photographing boys getting ready.

September 9, 2008

John and I are sending our best wishes to our former wedding clients who are expectiong their first babies!!! By coincidence, both weddings took place at Bylaugh Hall in Norfolk.

We would like to congratulate Emma and Andy whose wedding we photographed in spring 2007 and whom we saw recently at Davina and Andy’s wedding:

and Catherine and Johnathan, our couple from the 2006 season, whom we met again at Sarah and Rob’s wedding in July:

John and I drove all the way to Glocestershire to photograph Davina and Andy’s wedding at Hilton Puckrup Hall, Tewkesbury. Below are some sneak peek photos from this wedding.

We photographed Nicola and Geoff’s pre-wedding session at the Black Gate not far from the Central Station in Newcastle upon Tyne. That morning I saw John off at the railway station for a training course in London, and used a chance to wander around looking for exciting locations. I saw the barbican of the Black Gate, fell in love with it and thought it would a great place to photograph Nicola and Geoff.

The Black Gate was built in the 13th century by king Henry III and has a fascinating history. If you want to know more about it you can visit its website.

Meanwhile I’ll just show you some photos from this shoot:

The street lamps went on by the end of the session. I liked the golden sheen on the stone walls of the Victorian railway bridge that separates the Black gate from Castle Keep:

The setting sunlight was very pretty on the Theatre Royal and I used it for this quick parting photo of Nicola:
