I photographed a pre-wedding session in Berwick upon Tweed last week and couldn’t help myself to grab some frames for my personal collection of North East views.

Emma and William were en route to St Andrews, Fife, in Scotland, where I’ll photograph their wedding this summer. We met at Berwick upon Tweed just off A1 for their pre-wedding session.

In the afternoon on the 17th-century Old Bridge over the river Tweed:

We ventured further into town and used an old metail shop gate for these portraits of William and Emma:

We were finishing the session as the sun was setting down and the couple were preparing to resume their trip to St Andrews.

We managed to catch the last day of Yoko Ono’s “Between the Sky and My Head” exhibition at the Baltic Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne on Saturday. We had missed so many things while John was unwell so it was a real treat to wander among Yoko Ono pieces, write wish tree notes and enjoy a sunny afternoon quyaside walk.

As we were leaving the Centre we saw a group of Greek students cheering Newcastle bride and groom who were on their walkabout photoshoot:

John is back to normal!

March 16, 2009

As some of you may know not long ago John was taken to the hospital with pneumonia complicated with pleurasy and then other complications after treatment. His test results came back normal now and he has totally recovered!!! I am so happy!

Here he is standing on Armstrong Bridge among the sunday market wares:

I received this thank you note from Jonathan and Sarah by email yesterday:

Hi Galina,
Just a quick message to say a massive thanyou for our wedding album. The album is FANTASTIC and just tops off the sevice you gave us from start to finish. You were a pleasure to have at the wedding, making the photography fun rather than the OH NO not more photos that it can often be. I would gladly recommend you to anyone requiring a photographer as the package we received from you was worth every penny.

Thanks again, Love Jonathan and Sarah

Hi guys
