John and I travelled from Birmingham to Ponteland in Northumberland to photograph Deborah and Justin’s wedding at Horton Grange Hotel. It was a great opportunity to visit John’s mum and dad as well!

I loved Deborah’s hat and shoes!

I photographed Caroline and Carl’s wedding back in 2005. Now they are proud parents of their 7-month old baby daughter Holly and have decided to come back to have a family portrait session with me. We met on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. Holly was exceptionally well-behaved and giggly on the day. It was great to work with them!

OK, in the spirit of catching up I am going to publish some previously unposted album layouts

Here are some pages from Chris and David’s 8″x12″ magazine-style album. Steel grey accent colour with a vintage overlay borrowed from a Tudor textile were used to compliment an old English setting of this couple’s wedding - a medieval church and quaint Tudor streets of Lavenham, richly decorated bedrooms and exposed oak beams of the Swan Inn:

I spent yesterday evening updating the design slightly. Not a massive difference - just to rectify a usability error. I found that Avast! anti-virus software red-flagged some perfectly harmless javascript elements in the previous layout, blocking the blog.

I’ve got a lot of wedding and portrait stuff to post to show what I’ve been up to. My poor blog, you were neglected for several months!
